The same can be said of all of Ono's works. Cut Piece, which Ono performed almost simultaneously with Bag Piece between 1964 and 1966, invited audience members to come up to the stage, cut off a piece of the artist's best clothes (whatever these might be at the time of the performance) and take it as a gift. This piece also prompted the viewers to leave their comfort zones and go on stage.
